My two brothers and I were in need of legal assistance in gaining access to accounts held in our mother’s residuary trust as she suffers from progressive dementia and can no longer deal effectively with her personal finances.
Seth advised us in this matter and drafted a Certificate of Trust for each of us to complete, sign and have notarized. We are now able to manage our mother’s assets to her and our advantages.
Seth also advised us regarding the sale of our mother’s condominium as she has moved to assisted living. He guided us in working with the escrow officer to direct the funds from the sale to our mother’s Vanguard account which is held in her trust so as to gain the best tax advantage.
